Amber expands with two new studios in Asia: the Philippines and Taiwan

Amber is thrilled to announce the opening of our inaugural studios in Taiwan and the Philippines, marking a significant expansion of our global business operations. This strategic move is aimed at leveraging the immense talent in these regions and fortifying our position in the dynamic world of game development.

Amber Taiwan, under the leadership of General Manager Jason Chien, will specialize in art, programming, and game design, contributing to our expertise in the creation of AAA games. Jason, with a background as the Director of Game Services at Amazon and founder of Bit Toys, brings a wealth of experience to guide the Taipei studio.

Simultaneously, Amber Philippines, led by General Manager Mel Songco, will focus on QA, localization, and player support. Mel, with a distinguished career encompassing senior roles at industry giants such as EA, Activision Blizzard, and Vivendi Games, is well-equipped to spearhead this essential aspect of game development.

Jaime Gine, CEO of Amber, expressed the rationale behind this expansion, stating, "First and foremost, we have been attracted by the extremely talented people who can augment our development capabilities and help us become better at creating games. At the same time, being present on a new continent allows us to respond to the needs of our clients more quickly and efficiently."

Amber remains committed to excellence and innovation, and this expansion is a testament to our dedication to delivering top-tier services to our clients while broadening our global footprint. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we embark on this new chapter of growth and opportunity.
